The core rule
Treat every student and landlord on CvStay PH with basic respect and honesty. Scams, harassment, and non-consensual content have no place here.
Zero tolerance
- Non-consensual intimate imagery or any form of voyeurism (RA 9995)
- Sexually explicit messages to a user who has not invited them
- Gender-based, LGBTQ+-targeted, or disability-targeted harassment (Safe Spaces Act RA 11313)
- Extortion, blackmail, or threats of violence
- Doxxing (sharing someone's private information without consent)
- Coordinated scams or fraud rings
Report
Use the report button on any listing or message thread, or email cvstayph@gmail.com for time-sensitive safety concerns.
What happens after a report
- Report is triaged within 24 hours (6 hours for safety-critical reports)
- Evidence preserved and reviewed
- Content disabled if violation is confirmed
- Account suspended or banned depending on severity
- Serious crimes reported to PNP-ACG or NBI Cybercrime Division
Personal safety reminders
- Always visit a unit in person before paying anything
- Meet landlords in daylight at the property itself, not at a random location
- Ask for an official receipt for every payment
- Never share your CvSU Student ID photo outside of CvStay PH's verification flow
